General Description:
Individual will effectively and safely assemble machines, . This individual must be mechanically inclined, with the ability to read assembly drawings. Individual will also have to organize parts, work area and materials.
Individual will assist in preparing products and loading products to be shipped. Individual is expected to be able to effectively and safely operate a forklift and overhead crane to be able to load and unload materials as needed.Individual will cross train in other departments at the discretion of management, and we will teach you to Mig weld! In addition to the above requirements, the employee must also be able to occasionally work off site, in a feed mill, grain elevator type environment. This will occasionally require you to travel, sometimes overnight, or potentially for longer periods of time all over the United States. Employee will work over weekends and may work overtime hours as required by customer needs. Typically travel is one week per month.
Essential Duties:
Assemble the machines from start to finish
Maintain a safe and clean work area as well as prep work
Crate, strap down, and Load machines for shipping.
Troubleshoot issues
Test run machines
Quality control of product
Will learn how to weld with the Mig process
Work with your team to contribute new ideas to improve your department
Minimum Experience and
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED Preferred
6 months experience in a manufacturing setting
Additional Skills Desired:
Ability to read blue prints/ drawings is required
Experience assembling machines is preferred
one year experience in a manufacturing type setting preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
